During the past 3 years, we have experienced an extraordinary number of properties sold on Manasota Key and we want to take this time to welcome all of our new neighbors!

 

Quite a few of the new property owners are not aware of the special rules that apply to Manasota Key and we ask that all of our members help us communicate the following:

 

1.  Manasota Key has a special Florida Statute (Chapter 71-904) that created the Manasota Key Conservation District and all property owners on the Key should familiarize themselves with this statute and abide by this law.  The Conservation Act can be found in your Directory.

 

2.  Short term home rentals (less than 30 days) are not allowed on Manasota Key in Sarasota County.

 

3.  The Manasota Key Association is a voluntary Association and we cordially welcome all of our new neighbors to join the MKA.

 

Please take the time to meet your new neighbors and welcome them to our community, acquaint them with our special status as a Conservation District and encourage them to join the MKA.
